One more summer the Parque de El Majuelo de Almuñécar hosts the Jazz Festival on the Coast from July 18 to July 23, this year 2023 the festival reaches its thirty-sixth installment.

The Auditorium of the Park “El Majuelo”

The Auditorium where the Coastal Jazz Festival is held is located in a privileged position, designed by maestro Urrengoechea, at the foot of the San Miguel castle, which presides over the entire Park and from where there are also privileged views of the entire the Granada coast. In addition to some archaeological remains of the old garum factory, used by the Romans, but initially built by the Phoenicians. The Jazz Festival this summer 2023 celebrates no less than thirty-six editions, being the most important event of its kind in all of Andalusia. With the exhibition of photographs by Alfredo Aguilar, Antonio Alonso, Andrés Castillo, Francisco Díaz, Ovidio G. Cotarelo, Juan Jesús García, José Miguel Gutiérrez, Alberto J. Collantes, Ana Lanz and Pepe Torres.
