Torrecuevas ist ein Stadtteil von Almu\u00f1\u00e9car und liegt im s\u00fcdwestlichen Teil der Costa Tropical-Region von Granada, ganz in der N\u00e4he der \u00e4ltesten Stadt im spanischen Mittelmeerraum, Almu\u00f1\u00e9car, von der es administrativ abh\u00e4ngig ist. Ihre Hauptachse ist die Regionalstra\u00dfe A-4050, wo sie sich auf beiden Seiten der Autobahn erstreckt.<\/p>\n

Aufgrund der sehr langen Geschichte der gesamten Region seit der Antike (und insbesondere seit der ph\u00f6nizischen Zeit oder sogar davor) ist es ein Viertel, das sich seit jeher der Landwirtschaft widmet, sowohl dem Plantagenbau als auch dem Gro\u00df- und Einzelhandel. Und dank des privilegierten Mikroklimas des Gebiets aufgrund seiner N\u00e4he zur Mittelmeerk\u00fcste und der Tatsache, dass es von Bergen umgeben ist, die die kalten Winde aus dem Norden blockieren, entsteht ein subtropisches Mikroklima, das die Entwicklung vieler tropischer Fr\u00fcchte erm\u00f6glicht, wie z Mango, Avocado und Cherimoya, einzigartig auf dem gesamten europ\u00e4ischen Kontinent.<\/p>\n

Cherimoya-Festival<\/h3>\n

Und genau dieser letzten Frucht, dem Puddingapfel, widmet dieses besondere Viertel ein Fest, das aus und in verschiedene L\u00e4nder importiert und exportiert wurde, auch mit tropischem oder subtropischem Klima, wie unter anderem Ecuador und Peru, allerdings in jedem Eines davon wird an unterschiedlichen Tagen gefeiert, abh\u00e4ngig von der Pflanz- und Erntezeit der einzelnen Fr\u00fcchte.<\/p>\n

In Torrecuevas f\u00e4llt das Landwirtschaftsfest genau mit der Ernte dieser subtropischen Frucht zu Beginn des Herbstes zusammen (genauer gesagt ist der gro\u00dfe Tag der Feierlichkeiten der 12. Oktober), an dem f\u00fcr die Verehrung der Jungfrau Maria gebetet wird, die in einer Prozession zelebriert wird . am zw\u00f6lften Oktober eines jeden Jahres, zeitgleich mit dem Nationalfest von Hispanidad und der Virgen del Pilar von Saragossa, das die diesj\u00e4hrige Ernte segnet, damit sie die bestm\u00f6gliche ist.<\/p>\n

Dieses Cherimoya-Fest im landwirtschaftlich gepr\u00e4gten Viertel Torrecuevas de Almu\u00f1\u00e9car wird seit den sechziger Jahren des letzten 20. Jahrhunderts anl\u00e4sslich der Einweihung des Schulkomplexes und der Kapelle der Jungfrau Maria in der Nachbarschaft gefeiert und f\u00fchrt mehrere Tage lang Aktivit\u00e4ten in der Gegend durch Plaza del Acueducto sowie die Organisation von Sportwettk\u00e4mpfen, bei denen das Trial-Rennen hervorsticht, und die Prozession des Bildes der Jungfrau, das von den Costaleros auf den Schultern des Viertels in einem religi\u00f6sen Akt und einer religi\u00f6sen Andacht getragen wird<\/p>\n

Die Organisation des Cherimoya-Festivals im Viertel Torrecuevas ist f\u00fcr mehrere Institutionen zust\u00e4ndig, darunter: die Festivalabteilung des Stadtrats von Almu\u00f1\u00e9car; sowie von der Bruderschaft der Jungfrau Maria und San Isidro Labrador; und auch von der Nachbarschaftsvereinigung Torrecuevas.<\/p>\n

Und die meisten Veranstaltungen dieser Feier finden zwischen der Kapelle der Jungfrau Maria und dem Platz des r\u00f6mischen Aqu\u00e4dukts von Torrecuevas statt, in den Tagen davor und am 12. Oktober eines jeden Jahres.<\/p>\n

Das Aqu\u00e4dukt wurde bei einer arch\u00e4ologischen Ausgrabung im Juni 2000 an einem Ort namens El Convento entdeckt. Es ist Teil eines sehr langen Aqu\u00e4dukts r\u00f6mischen Ursprungs, das im Mittelalter auch von Muslimen genutzt wurde, von der Stra\u00dfe Suspiro del Moro bis zur K\u00fcste von Almu\u00f1\u00e9car f\u00fchrt und die gesamte Region bew\u00e4ssert.<\/p>\n
