La Cueva de los 7 Palacios est un lieu plein de mysticisme et d’histoire, car il s’agit d’une cavit\u00e9 souterraine form\u00e9e par une grande vo\u00fbte en pierre et sept autres plus petites.<\/p>\n

Ce monument, en plus d’\u00eatre un autre point d’int\u00e9r\u00eat culturel, historique et touristique d’Almu\u00f1\u00e9car, se trouve sur la colline de San Miguel, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 occup\u00e9e par toutes les cultures qui sont pass\u00e9es par la p\u00e9ninsule ib\u00e9rique depuis l’\u00e2ge du bronze jusqu’\u00e0 l’\u00e9poque moderne, ce qui nous rappelle une fois de plus qu’Almu\u00f1\u00e9car a le titre de ville la plus ancienne de la c\u00f4te m\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne espagnole.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>[vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”4147″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space]

Sa construction est due au fait que, pour pallier l’inconv\u00e9nient du manque d’espace dans la zone urbaine d\u00e9j\u00e0 urbanis\u00e9e de l’ancienne Sexi depuis l’\u00e9poque ph\u00e9nicienne, les Romains ont construit une plate-forme autour de la colline pour construire ces vo\u00fbtes, dont les murs \u00e9taient soutenus par les maisons de l’\u00e9poque et aujourd’hui encore, de nombreuses maisons priv\u00e9es de cette zone conservent une ou plusieurs vo\u00fbtes \u00e0 l’int\u00e9rieur.<\/p>\n

De m\u00eame, un temple fut construit dans cette zone en l’honneur de la d\u00e9esse Minerve, dans le sous-sol duquel se trouvait la plus importante des vo\u00fbtes, connue aujourd’hui sous le nom de grotte des sept palais.<\/p>\n

Il s’agit de l’une des manifestations urbaines les plus importantes de l’Espagne romaine, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clar\u00e9e Bien d’int\u00e9r\u00eat culturel en 1931, et qui abrite \u00e9galement le Mus\u00e9e arch\u00e9ologique municipal d’Almu\u00f1\u00e9car depuis 1984.<\/p>\n

La structure est compos\u00e9e d’une vo\u00fbte longitudinale en pierre, travers\u00e9e par sept vo\u00fbtes transversales plus petites, qui croisent la vo\u00fbte principale d’un c\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e0 l’autre, cr\u00e9ant ainsi une vo\u00fbte d’ar\u00eate dans la vo\u00fbte principale et une vo\u00fbte en berceau dans les autres. La vo\u00fbte principale se r\u00e9tr\u00e9cit \u00e0 l’extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 oppos\u00e9e \u00e0 l’entr\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Les mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s pour cet ouvrage sont bas\u00e9s sur des dalles d’ardoise dans les vo\u00fbtes, des pierres de taille irr\u00e9guli\u00e8res dans les murs et un remplissage en ma\u00e7onnerie superpos\u00e9e dans les vo\u00fbtes, et les traces des planches utilis\u00e9es pour le coffrage sont encore visibles aujourd’hui. Cela en fait un excellent site pour un mus\u00e9e arch\u00e9ologique.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>[vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”4148″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space]

\u00c0 l’int\u00e9rieur du mus\u00e9e se trouvent onze vitrines, parfaitement signalis\u00e9es et dot\u00e9es de panneaux d’information, dans lesquelles sont expos\u00e9s des vestiges arch\u00e9ologiques de toutes les cultures qui sont pass\u00e9es par Almu\u00f1\u00e9car et La Herradura, des bijoux, des amphores, des r\u00e9cipients et d’autres objets trouv\u00e9s dans diff\u00e9rents sites arch\u00e9ologiques et tombes de la Costa del Sol Tropical.<\/p>\n

Parmi ceux-ci, un vase \u00e9gyptien de l’\u00e9poque du pharaon Apophis Ier, datant du XVIIe si\u00e8cle avant J.-C., est une pi\u00e8ce unique qui, pour ajouter \u00e0 son importance, contient le texte \u00e9crit le plus ancien conserv\u00e9 en Espagne.<\/p>\n
